- Against the wild: Zach Wade, a mischievous kid, and his younger sister Hannah, along with their devoted dog Chinook, become lost in the wilderness when their small plane has engine problems and must make an emergency landing. Their mom and dad are frantic and rescue teams are searching. But for the next few days, Zach, Hannah, and Chinook must learn how to combine their skills, trust their instincts, and navigate a terrain as beautiful as it is untamed

But when their small plane crash-lands in the Serengeti, they have only each other, along with their fellow passenger, a Malamute named Chinook, to rely on. The rescue teams are searching. Their mom is panicked. Can brother, sister, and one courageous dog now learn how to conquer their fears and trust each other in the most beautiful yet untamed wilderness of all?
