- Jagged edge: Close stars as an attorney who falls in love with her client. With the help of private eye Sam Ransom, she takes on a ruthless district attorney who's using the case as a political stepping stone
- Scenes of the crime: A young man about to get married earns extra cash by driving a local mobster, but things go awry when the mobster is shot dead by a rival crime boss
- Starman: An alien whose ship crashes in Wisconsin is found by a distraught widow and assumes the form of her dead husband. He convinces her to drive him to Arizona where his mothership must pick him up in three days or he will die. Government agents are after them
